Embroidery
While working on art projects and design products, there is quite a lot of leftover fabrics and other materials such as washi paper coming together. Recycling them into new work processes has always been an interest of mine. Embroidery as a textile technique manages to connect Art and Design.
日々の服や布製品作りから出る端切れは様々な形をしていて、そして服作りと共に徐々に集まっていきます。それらを繋ぎ合わせ新しいテキスタイルにリサイクルすることは、常に私の空想の中にあります。この刺繍で繋いでいく取り組みは、アートとデザイン、遊び心を結びつけて、私の手を動かします。大きな一枚のピースを作るプロジェクトが現在進行中です。
